DIY Tomato Cage Plant Stands
Lately, I've been a little obsessed with filling my home with beautiful house plants. However, great pots, and plant stands can be expensive, so when I stumbled across this DIY project that Martha Stewart had featured, I had to try it! It is super easy, and only takes a few minutes (minus the drying time).
What you will need:
How to make it:
Check which ring of the tomato cage that your pot will best fit in.
With a wire cutter, clip the tomato cage to the desired height.
Spray paint with the desired color.
Voila! It's as simple as that!
I also spray painted my terra cotta pots with white spray paint, to give my plants a more modern home. If you do this, make sure to also spray the insides with water sealant to prevent the paint from peeling or bubbling in the future.
